The Perth Heat earned a split of a doubleheader Saturday at NSR Hire Ballpark, riding three solo home runs to a 3-0 win in the opener before the Brisbane Bandits answered with a 6-2 victory in the nightcap.

Owen Cobb drove in two runs and the Perth Heat scored three times in the seventh inning to pull away for a 7–5 victory over the Brisbane Bandits on Sunday afternoon at NSR Hire Ballpark, clinching the four-game series 3–1.

Perth’s (4–6) bats stayed hot and an explosive 11-run ninth inning helped the Heat pull away from the Brisbane Bandits (5–6) for an 18–3 win on Sunday afternoon in the first game of a doubleheader at Viticon Stadium.

Strong pitching carried Brisbane to a tight win in the opener before Perth answered with a relentless offensive outburst in Game 2, forcing a doubleheader split Saturday at Viticon Stadium.
