The Perth Heat earned a split of a doubleheader Saturday at NSR Hire Ballpark, riding three solo home runs to a 3-0 win in the opener before the Brisbane Bandits answered with a 6-2 victory in the nightcap.

The Perth Heat rode strong pitching performances in both games and a late comeback in the nightcap to sweep a doubleheader from the Brisbane Bandits on Saturday at NSR Hire Ballpark, winning 3-2 in the opener before pulling out a 6-5 victory in 10 innings.

Perth’s (4–6) bats stayed hot and an explosive 11-run ninth inning helped the Heat pull away from the Brisbane Bandits (5–6) for an 18–3 win on Sunday afternoon in the first game of a doubleheader at Viticon Stadium.
