The Illinois Valley Pistol Shrimp clinched the 2024 Prospect League Northwest Division title with a 3-0 victory over the Clinton LumberKings on Thursday night at Schweickert Stadium.
The Clinton LumberKings (17-10) delivered a dominant performance against the Illinois Valley Pistol Shrimp (17-11), securing a decisive 17-7 victory on Monday night at NelsonCorp Field.
In the first game of the doubleheader at Schweickert Stadium, which resumed play in the bottom of the third inning on June 25, the Clinton LumberKings delivered a commanding performance, defeating the Illinois Valley Pistol Shrimp 10-3.
