Brisbane Bandits Welcome Samsung Lions Players for 2025/26 ABL Season

BRISBANE, Australia - The Brisbane Bandits are thrilled to continue our international partnership with the Samsung Lions, one of South Korea’s most successful professional baseball clubs. Now in its second year, this collaboration builds on the strong foundations established last season and continues to bring world-class talent and expertise to Brisbane.

Known for their consistent dominance in the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO), the Lions have captured multiple league championships in recent years, cementing themselves as a powerhouse of talent and development. This ongoing partnership will see the Lions once again send highly skilled players to the Bandits, bringing a wealth of experience and high-performance culture as we gear up for the 2025/26 ABL season.

Seung-Hyun Lee

The Bandits are excited to announce the arrival of a left-handed starting pitcher Seung-Hyun Lee from Samsung Lions, a five-season KBO veteran who has appeared in 189 games for the Lions. With experience both as a starter and out of the bullpen, he has recorded 28 holds and 6 saves, amassing 282 strikeouts over 319 innings. Last season, he also gained valuable experience in Australia with the Adelaide Giants, making six starts, striking out 24 batters, and posting a 4.32 ERA. Known for his ability to punch plenty of tickets and dominate hitters, he brings both versatility and a competitive edge to the Bandits rotation.

Soo-Ho Ham 

Joining him is a promising left-handed outfielder Soo-Ho Ham , just 19 years old, who represents one of Samsung’s most exciting young talents. In his rookie 2025 KBO season, he made two starts at left field for the Lions, recording three hits and one RBI in 14 at-bats. He also had extensive time in the KBO Futures League, appearing in 85 games and collecting 69 hits, five home runs, and a .264 batting average. A powerful and precise hitter with a strong arm, he combines athleticism in the field with potential to make a big impact at the plate.
